Mr. Ader founded and serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hayground Cove Asset Management LLC, a New York-based investment management firm with approximately $1.86 billion of assets across funds and accounts under management as of June 30, 2007. Mr. Ader has a strong asset management record and, prior to founding Hayground Cove, served as a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. from 1995 to 2003, where he performed equity and high yield research for more than 50 companies in the gaming, lodging and leisure industries. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Ader served as a Senior Analyst at Smith Barney covering the gaming industry. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Ader served as a buyside analyst at Baron Capital, where he covered the casino industry. Mr. Ader has a B.S. degree in Economics from New York University and a M.B.A. in Finance from New York University, Stern School of Business.
In February 2006, Mr. Sasson acquired the land to develop Spa Lofts, a modern loft condominium project in Las Vegas. Mr. Sasson was a partner in Panorama Towers, a high-rise condominium in Las Vegas, from January 2004 to November 2005, pioneering the Las Vegas high-rise market. Mr. Sasson is currently developing a $500 million non-gaming boutique hotel, the Harmon Hotel, Spa and Residences, as part of MGM Mirage's $7 billion "Project City Center." The hotel, which is expected to open towards the end of 2009, will serve as the gateway into the 66 acre development and is being planned by a world renowned design team. Mr. Sasson also owns and operates the Light Group, a $100 million Las Vegas hospitality company known for its innovative and profitable venues including FIX Restaurant and Bar at the Bellagio Hotel and Resort and Stack Restaurant at the Mirage Resort and Casino, among others. Mr. Sasson has been a prominent participant in the hospitality industry for the past 16 years.
Mr. Juliano has served as Managing Director of Dubai Investment Group, Global Real Estate and Hospitality since February 2007. He also served as Executive Director, Dubai Investment Group, Global Real Estate and Hospitality from March 2006 until February 2007. At Dubai Investment Group, he oversees a $2 billion global U.S. real estate portfolio, including a $700 million hospitality portfolio. From July 1999 to March 2006, Mr. Juliano held various senior positions with GE Real Estate, including positions with the private equity investment platform and large loan/mezzanine financing groups. Mr. Juliano was a real estate attorney with Thacher Proffitt & Wood from 1993 to 1999 where his practice concentrated on real estate finance and capital markets. He has a B.A. degree in English from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. degree from New York Law School.
Mr. Foyston is a Founding Partner and Joint Managing Director of Navis Capital Partners, a private equity/ buyout fund manager, which he joined in 1999. Mr. Foyston spent much of his career in Asia with The Boston Consulting Group ("BCG"). After residing in Tokyo for three years, Mr. Foyston moved to Hong Kong in 1989 to lead BCG's Asia non-Japan practice, establishing eight offices across the region between 1990 and 1998. Mr. Foyston has extensive experience in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, Korea and Japan. He has worked in a variety of industries with a focus on consumer goods, agribusiness, and financial services. Prior to joining BCG, Mr. Foyston worked for Coopers & Lybrand in Toronto as a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Foyston was raised in Canada and educated in both Canada and the United States and has resided in Asia for the past 21 years. Mr. Foyston holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, Canada and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Bloy is a Founding Partner and Joint Managing Director of Navis Capital Partners, which he joined in April 1999. From 1989 until March 1999, Mr. Bloy was with BCG in Asia and, previously, he spent three years with Bain & Co. in London. Mr. Bloy held various positions in BCG, including Head of BCG's main Southeast Asian office in Kuala Lumpur, Head of BCG's Energy and Utilities Practice in Asia and Head of BCG's Asia Marketing Committee. His work has focused on Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, the Philippines and Thailand. Mr. Bloy has worked in a wide range of industries including consumer and industrial goods, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, conglomerates, electronics, financial services and others. Mr. Bloy is a Director of Navis Capital Partners' various portfolio companies and Non Executive Director of Commerce International Merchant Bank, Malaysia's premier investment bank. He was raised in England and educated in England and France. Mr. Bloy holds a B.A. degree from University College, London and a M.B.A. from INSEAD, France.
Mr. Seghin is a Partner of Navis Capital Partners (Hong Kong) Limited, which he joined in 2003. From 1998 to 2003 he was the Managing Partner of Quilvest Asia Limited, and from 1995 until 1997 he served as Managing Owner of Cortez Capital Limited. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Seghin was Managing Director of Euro Pacific Advisers Limited, a fund management company affiliated with the Credit Agricole Group. Before moving to Hong Kong in 1990, he was Vice President, Corporate Finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated in Tokyo. Mr. Seghin was raised and educated in Belgium and Japan. He graduated from Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium with a law degree and an MBA through an exchange program with Sophia University in Tokyo.
Mr. Mehra is currently the Managing Director, South Asia, for Airbus S.A.S. He joined Airbus in 2000 and has since generated $14 billion of business in the civil aviation industry through various sales and lease transactions. Mr. Mehra has over 30 years of experience in marketing and business development across industries, including capital goods, industrial products and consumer services. He has spent the last fifteen years of his career holding senior positions in the aviation industry, including with General Electric and Lucas Aerospace. Prior to Lucas Aerospace, Mr. Mehra worked for ITC Ltd.'s Hotels Division as General Manager of Marketing. Mr. Mehra resides in New Delhi, India. Mr. Mehra holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology (Mesra, Ranchi) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management (Bombay).
Ravi Deol is currently Chairman and CEO of Mars Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Deol has pioneered several ventures, including founding Barista, India's first indigenous coffee chain which revolutionized life style driven high street consumption. He was the architect of the Bharti Wal-Mart joint venture which marked Bharti's entry into the retail sector. Earlier he gathered a wide ranging experience with brands such as Coca-Cola and Wipro Consumer.
